In this experiment, the super hydrophobic property of Levron Aerogel is demonstrated.
The water contact angle of Levron Aerogel is 165 degrees, which means that it is not affected by water and moisture.
The super hydrophobic effect is active up to 650 °C.
Structural properties were studied by density measurement, SEM micrographs and BET analysis.
The experiment shows that the hydrophobic effect is not reduced by mechanical impact.
Levron Aerogel adheres easily and quickly to the hands and the hydrophobic effect persists until the hands are washed with soap or similar cleanser.
These properties enhance both the thermal performance and the ease of use of Levron Aerogel.
